We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic team, bringing expertise in various aspects of construction and restoration. Responsibilities
Perform framing, trim carpentry, and door hanging with precision and attention to detail.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery to execute construction tasks effectively.
Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project requirements.
Install fixtures, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and roofing materials according to specifications.
Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and metal stud framing as needed.
Assist with water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage repair projects.
Support fabrication activities including custom woodworking and metal fabrication for various construction needs.
Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks such as scaffolding setup and material handling on-site.
Apply construction painting techniques and caulking for finishing touches that enhance project quality.
Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and fixture installation.
Maintain safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites or restoration projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating, carpentry (including trim and frame), roofing, masonry, or related fields.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and schematics reading.
Strong background in construction site experience with knowledge of blueprint interpretation.
Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage repair.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment like scaffolding or forklifts if required.
Knowledge of flooring installation, tile laying, siding application, drywall finishing (including plastering), and fixture installation.
Experience with metal stud framing, cabinetry installation, door hanging, remodeling projects, and electrical or plumbing tasks is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a proactive approach to safety compliance.
Valid certifications related to construction trades are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary licenses is expected.
