GE Monogram 48” built-in side-by-side refrigerator/freezer in stainless steel.
Model: ZISS48DCASS
This refrigerator was recently removed during a kitchen renovation and replaced with a new Monogram unit. The refrigerator and freezer were maintaining temperature when removed.
Maintenance and repairs completed over the years include:
• Condenser fan replaced
• Ice maker replaced
• Ice auger replaced
• Compressor relay/start switch replaced
The unit has a known issue with the air damper between the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The damper was manually adjusted to maintain proper airflow and temperatures. Additionally, a few times over the past 10 years the unit required a complete defrost/power-down period before returning to normal operation.
Despite its age, this is still a premium built-in refrigerator that originally sold for many thousands of dollars (new is 13,500) and is a good candidate for repair, continued use, replacement parts, rental property, or secondary/outdoor kitchen use.
Sold as-is due to age.
